I've been lucky enough to introduce thousands of people to PEMF therapy. When I speak to people about PEMF therapy, I often feel like I'm in that commercial from the 80's, "I'm not just the President of Hair Club for Men, I'm also a client". Except our company doesn't have a President, it has three equal partners. Also, I'm comfortably confident being bald(ish), hahaha! However, I'm not sharing a solution to male pattern baldness. I'm sharing a solution to living a higher quality of life, and honestly, hair volume doesn't fit into that equation ;)
Fact, PEMF therapy has VASTLY improved my quality of life. I don't know about you, but when I find a solution, be it to a simple problem such as finding nontoxic cleaning products (try lemon juice and baking soda) or finding a sustainable solution to achieving optimal wellness, I feel a social responsibility to share it. Solutions are not something to be kept to yourself. To be totally upfront, using PEMF therapy as a solution was a tough sell for me. For some reason I had convinced myself that I didn't need it. Don't get me wrong, I was obsessed with reading scientific studies on PEMF therapy and was completely sold on the technology. So much so, after researching all the available devices on the market my wife and I went ahead and purchased an iMRS PEMF system. It was for my wife though, not me. Why did I need to use it. That's the real question. Why wasn't I using it? Did I think it was inconvenient? That's ridiculous, it's literally a mat that you lie down on! It couldn't possibly be less invasive, hahaha! So why didn't I start using it right away? The reason why was, I thought I was healthy. Why should I use it?! I may not have been honest with myself, but I can be completely honest with you. I wasn't healthy. I wasn't even close to healthy, haha! Yet, I thought of myself as a healthy, 30 something year old male. By the time I decided to make my health a priority and start using our iMRS PEMF system that we had already invested in, I was suffering from an assortment of conditions. Food allergies, off the charts seasonal allergies, chronic canker sores, mood swings, low energy, and eczema that was so itchy it kept me up at night. Worst of all, I had a serious arm injury that prevented me from participating in my favorite activities. I was actually fairly miserable. What I've discovered in my years of working with this technology is, lot's of people are in the same shoes as I was back then. Here's where we uncover the real problem. If your conditions have been around long enough, you start confusing "common" with "normal". COMMON DOES NOT EQUAL NORMAL! As previously mentioned, in my years of working with this technology, I've discovered that people everywhere are making the same mistake I was. If you haven't been guilty of this before, I guarantee you know someone who has. It's an easy trap to fall into. Maybe you can't sleep at night and have no energy. So the next time you talk to your friends, you bring it up, to which they all reply, "Me too!"... Just like that, not sleeping and never having enough energy somehow goes from being "common" to "normal" to you, and you stop looking for a solution... Typing this out it seems crazy that I fell into that trap. Yet it happens everyday. It is predicted that 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lives! If cancer is becoming common does that mean we should start thinking of it as normal?.... How do we get out of this trap? Awareness. You can't get out of the trap until you know you're in it. Before you can look for a solution, you have to take a hard, honest look at your quality of life today. Then with an open mind make a list of all the things that are negatively impacting you. Are they normal or are they common? Make a mental note the next time you:
Common or normal? Have you fallen into the same trap I did? Have you stopped looking for a sustainable solution and just decided you would live with it? It's hard to change your perspective on life. But making a list of all those things that diminish your quality of life, and getting them out in open is the only way they can be dealt with. Then you can set to finding solutions. Now I'll be the first to admit there are many solutions out there for every condition. Educate yourself first, then try as many solutions or combinations of solutions as you can! Good questions to ask yourself about learning about possible solutions may be: Do they have negative side effects? Are they sustainable? Are they invasive? Do I have to continue buying it for the rest of my life? I tried all kinds of solutions to my conditions over the years, and and had seen around 15 different health care professionals regarding my arm injury. PEMF therapy ended up being the solution to all my conditions. What does my life look like now that I'm use my Omnium1 or my iMRS twice a day? (We own both systems) I now enjoy every single meal, without fear of allergies or the stinging pain of canker sores. I cherish my time outside in nature without worry of an impending hay fever attack. My mood swings are gone, which has had a wonderfully positive impact on our family dynamic. My skin is 100% free from itchy, dry, eczema patches, which previously covered me from face to feet! The largest impact for me is, I'm back to my super active happy place with energy to burn! I absolutely love exercising 6-7 days a week, training in the gym, kickboxing, playing (and coaching) baseball and basketball, running with my wife Lindsay, and going on family bike rides. All of which my arm injury had prevented me from doing. My message to you is, DON'T BE LIKE ME! I don't mean, stay away from using the iMRS and Omnium1 PEMF systems to help live your best life. I highly recommend doing that. I say DON'T BE LIKE ME, because I didn't take control of my own health. I didn't make my health a priority and as a result, I lived a dramatically reduced quality of life. I just lived with my conditions. The only reason I found a solution in the first place was the fact that I had someone else looking out for me (thank you Lindsay). I wish everyone had a Lindsay, and though she'd call you in a heart beat if you asked for help, you need to be your own advocate first. You can start today with seriously assessing your current quality of life and asking yourself, could I be healthier? Happier? Pain free? What would my best life even look like? If that's something you want in this life, YOU need to make it happen, because nobody else will do it for you. All the best on your journey to a healthier, happier, pain free life! Reid
